John
3:1-17
For the rest of the Lenten season, our stories will come
from John’s gospel. This Sunday, we hear
the story of Nicodemus, the earnest and naïve Pharisee, who comes to Jesus at
night with some questions. . . . In
light of this story, we continue our Lenten theme of Belovedness. What does it mean to be beloved? What does God’s love look like? What does God’s love call us to do and be in the
world?
