In our reading for Sunday, Jesus shares some teachings that have parallels in other gospels.  But I am particularly interested in Jesus saying:  “Who among you would say to your slave who has just come in from ploughing or tending sheep in the field, ‘Come here at once and take your place at the table?’  Would you not rather say to him, ‘Prepare supper for me, put on your apron and serve me while I eat and drink; later you may eat and drink?’”  So, how is it that we are supposed to set the table?  What is it we are commanded to do?  And how do we muster the faith to do it?
